I chose this photo for a lot of reasons. One, because I like how the focus is thrown to the plumage of the bird. I like the contrast between the yellow and green feathers and the solid back background, it really makes them pop. I like the use of texture in the foreground, which always makes for an excellent photo. I would encourage checking out this photo in full view, to see the full glory of the focus on the feathers.

The color is great. The dark colors around the bird really bring out the colors of the birds, and almost gives it texture
